Three Weeks In

Three weeks into the move, and we’re still doing OK! The weather was fantastic all week, blue skies and warm weather. We were going to go downtown today, but Chris wasn’t feeling well, so we stayed in Queen Anne for dinner. The cats were given a treat we like to call “cookie ball”, a plastic ball full of cat cookies that they roll around until cookies fall out.

Cookie Ball? Cookie Ball?

Henry had what we call a “butt bug” tonight, running around the apartment and acting like a couch demon.

After Henry tore a hole in my sweater (I had the misfortune to be sitting on the couch), we decided it was time to go to dinner. Queen Anne is about a twenty-minute walk from the center of Downtown, so it close-in as far as Seattle neighborhoods are concerned. It also has one o the steepest grade hills in Seattle, which itself is the second hilliest city in America.

It is not nearly as hilly as this city.

So we went to a Greek place in Queen Anne for dinner. I remember when we were in college Chris refused to eat any ethnic food. Or any green food. Or most fruits. Now he will eat nearly anything, so we get to go to interesting restaurants. At the Greek place he ordered falafel salad, with extra pita. He made SURE to add in the extra pita.

We ended up taking a lot of pita home.

So tonight we are just staying home, watching Ghost Adventures, that fantastic show with the doofus guy who has a faux-hawk. We love this show, as the host gets possessed at least 50% of the time, and we like those odds!

Oh, I have to include the picture my mother sent me.

Just box it up and send it up here! Just box it up and send it up here!

I suspect that Teddy and his twin sister Mali are my parent’s favorite children. At least I know I am somewhere on the same par with Bart the dog.

I eat MY vegetables! I eat MY vegetables!

Tomorrow we are going downtown, so stay tuned. Ever exciting in Seattle!
